Development programmes

Our programmes help your workforce build the skills and confidence to provide high-quality care.

 

Moving Up programme

  • Delivery: Three online sessions plus self-learning modules
  • Cost: £750 +VAT - Adult social care providers can claim money towards the cost of the programme via the new  (LDSS). 

This programme supports managers and aspiring managers from Black and Asian minority backgrounds to progress in their careers. It’s designed to empower those who are ambitious but face barriers. Over the past 12 years, it has made a real difference to those who’ve taken part.

  • Cost: £26,000 +VAT for up to 16 people

This practical development programme is designed for registered managers in social care to help build confidence, learn useful strategies, and connect with peers. Each session covers key leadership skills you can use in real-life situations, helping you build confidence, develop your skills, and grow your network.

Becoming a director programme

  • Delivery: online welcome session and four face-to-face workshops
  • Cost: £1,700 +VAT

We offer two cohorts of this programme.

Becoming a Director of Adult Social Services is exclusively for future Directors of Adult Social Services (DASS) within statutory organisations (like local authorities) and builds skills to lead strategically, influence decisions and work across sectors.

 

Seminars to support meeting CQC standards

Meeting Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards is key to delivering Good or Outstanding care. Our interactive seminars help you understand the inspection process, prepare effectively, and build confidence.
